Edging

Hardwood floors are available with a variety of edge treatments, each one having a different effect on the overall appearance of the room. Edge treatments refer to special milling on the edges of each individual board to create visual effects.

Square edge boards fit flush against each other.

Beveled boards have sides that are sanded to create angled grooves or an outline effect around each board and delineate detail in the natural wood.

Micro or eased edges are slightly sanded, creating a less apparent beveled outline.
